On November 1, 2013, Hawaii’s Better Business Bureau ®(BBB) is taking a big step forward for an organization that prides itself onbeing the neutral repository that focuses on resolution.
Similar to other review sites, Hawaii’s BBB will allow customers to post reviews of businesses on our BBB Business Reviews. We will be taking it a step further and verifyingthat a transaction really did take place and the person posting the customer review did have a business transaction.
If the review is negative, BBB will suggest that the consumer file a complaint and seek resolution, as opposed to just shouting their dissatisfaction without a goal of resolve.
“Positive reviews engender increasing levels of consumer trust” Says Gregory D. Dunn, CEO of Hawaii’s BBB, “back that up with the verification process of BBB and Consumers not only have the objective information on our BBB Business Review but also a consumer review that they can trust.”
